Standard big bags, after being filled in, usually tend to become cylindrical because of the contained material. In some cases, this might be regarded as a disadvantage, because the cylindrical shape takes up much more volume and proves to be inconvenient during transportation and storage.
Form stable big bags are much more efficient.

Thanks to the inner reinforcing bands in the corners and to the absence of concave parts (big bag baffle is flat upon all four sides), once it has been filled in the big bag baffle maintains its original shape: rectangular or squared.
This allows to optimise the space both during transportation and storage. An increase in volume of 16-23 % has been proved.

Moreover, the cubical form provides more stability and safety.
